v0.5.0 Visual Overhaul


EMPIRES lacked visual consistency and poor visual communication, both have been a focus of this patch and much improved upon. There's also general bugfixes and balancing.

This is the largest update to the game to date.

Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where stats wouldn’t correctly display on worker tooltips
  • Fixed a bug where gold amount would not refresh correctly on shop refresh
  • Optimised many scripts, this should ensure the game runs smoother for more players more often
  • Fixed an issue where some stat values could become negative
  • Fixed a bug in the “epidemic” event

Changes

  • Shop refresh increase refresh by 2 each refresh (resets at next shop)
  • University: 5 gold per week -> 20% defence
  • Baker: energy 2 -> 1
  • Carpenter: energy 2-> 1
  • Digger: energy 2-> 1
  • Warehouse level 1: storage capacity 25 -> 50
  • Warehouse level 2: storage capacity 50 -> 75
  • Warehouse level 3: storage capacity 75 -> 100
  • Warehouse level 4: storage capacity 100 -> 125
  • Warehouse level 5: storage capacity 125 -> 150
